Spanish Teacher Job - Leicester

• Timetable: Full-time long term

Hays is working alongside a dynamic and inclusive Secondary school in Leicester dedicated to fostering a love for learning and cultural appreciation. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join their team and inspire students to achieve linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. This job will require you to do planning and marking as this is a long-term role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Teach Spanish language and culture to students at various proficiency levels.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language program.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
• Passion for Spanish language and culture.
