Basic salary: £35,000 – £40,000 p.a. + overtime, travel time, standby & callout earnings

Overtime & Travel Time Pay: Weekdays: 1.5x pay, Weekends: 2x pay

Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting for a fast-growing independent stairlift company. With a rapidly expanding workforce and growing infrastructure, the company provides a stable environment and a continuous flow of work for experienced engineers. 

This is a senior opportunity for a highly competent engineer who wants to earn strong money, take responsibility, and play a key role in supporting and leading others within the team.

Commutable from: Leicester, Wigston, Oadby, Hinckley, Coalville, Syston, Market Harborough, Nuneaton, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray

Responsibilities of a Stairlift Engineer:

• Install straight and curved stairlifts in customer homes to a high standard

• Carry out advanced fault-finding, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards

• Lead by example on-site, supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required

• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support

• Maintain accurate service records and ensure full compliance with safety procedures

• Assist with scheduling, travel planning, and preparation of parts and equipment

• Participate in the standby/call-out rota

The Ideal Stairlift Engineer Candidate:

• Advanced and competent stairlift engineer with significant industry experience (essential)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with stairlifts (essential)

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills (essential)

• Relevant electrical qualifications (essential)

• Proven ability to lead a team or act as a senior/lead engineer (essential)

• CSCS and/or SSSTS certification (desirable)

• Strong knowledge of major stairlift manufacturers (desirable)
