Steel Plater / Structural Welder – Permanent Role
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £32,700 – £34,500 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 (38 hours per week)

We’re looking for an experienced Steel Plater / Structural Welder to join a respected and expanding engineering company based in Loughborough.

The Role
- Fabricate and prepare steel plate components from technical drawings
- Carry out high-quality MIG welding on structural steel
- Assemble and fit components using jigs and drawings
- Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, drills, shears and presses
- Check welds and finished work to meet quality standards
- Maintain a safe and organised work area at all times
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience as a Plater, Fabricator, or Structural Welder
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols confidently
- Skilled in MIG welding
- Experience with Overhead, Vertical Up and Downhand welding
- A strong work ethic and team-focused attitude
