Stores Operative / Administrator

Job Description:

TXM Recruit are recruiting for a permanent Stores Operative / Administrator based in Derby.

Location:         Derby

Shifts:              Monday - Thursday 08.00 – 5pm/ Friday – 08.00am – 2.30pm

Salary:             £27,000k

An in date FLT / Counterbalance Licence is essential for this permanent role.

Job Description:

TXM are currently looking to recruit a Stores Operative / Administrator on a permanent basis in our customers busy Stores Department. It is important that the person who applies has an eye for detail and can follow company working practices to ensure the product leaves the companies workshop right first time.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team under the supervision of the Stores Manager
• Record materials/parts into sage system
• Picking of kits & picklists
• Liaise with other departments when materials/parts arrive.
• Completing weekly/monthly stocktakes as requested.
• Printing despatch paperwork
• Sales Invoicing.
• Arranging goods to be collected via transport portals.
• Running reports.
• Loading/Offloading goods from vehicles if required.

Skills / Requirements:

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Able to work individually or as part of a team
• Good level of IT ability and a willingness to learn
• Must be able to multi-task
• Able to prioritise workload
• Punctual
• FLT / Counterbalance Licence - essential
• Full UK Driving Licence – desirable
