Stores Operative (Quality)

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Stores Operative (Quality) to join their team.

They are an established AS9001-standard engineering company with over 40 years’ experience, specialising in precision CNC machined components.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the fast-paced, friendly Quality and Inspection team.

This is a varied role that plays a key part in maintaining our high-quality standards across aerospace and precision engineering components.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a working understanding of AS9100 quality standards

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of components using a range of inspection methods

• Read and interpret customer drawings and technical specifications

• Assist with the preparation and completion of inspection reports

• Investigate rejected and non-conforming parts

• Liaise with multiple departments to support inspection and quality processes

• Ensure all inspection activities meet required quality standards

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar quality or inspection role

• Aerospace inspection experience is essential

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of care in all tasks

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality work

• Strong communication skills and excellent work ethic

• A positive attitude with a willingness to develop skills and knowledge
