T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to join a busy Stores Department for our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

Stores Operative Job Details & Benefits;

• £12.50 per hour, increasing to £13.60 after 12 weeks

• Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm

Stores Operative Role and Responsibilities include;

• Accept deliveries, check quantities and condition of items in line with the quality assurance procedures
• Book goods in using the company’s internal system
• Receive check and distribute parcels
• Maintain stock and storage conditions
• Order picking, packing, labelling and stock control
• Investigating any discrepancies and liaising with the planning and purchasing manager regarding any anticipated problems
• Support the stock take
• Ensure all stock received is logged and placed into the correct location
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment

Stores Operative Person Specification;

• Previous experience within a Warehouse environment is preferred however full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Basic IT knowledge
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Physically fit as the role involves heavy lifting
• Strong attention to detail
