DAY SHIFT ONLY

Location: Corby, NN17 5DP
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (early finish)

Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 39 hours
Start: Immediate

Due to continued growth, our client - a market‑leading manufacturer based in Corby - is looking to recruit an experienced Forklift & Stores Operator to join their established and supportive team. This is a varied, hands‑on role offering long‑term stability within a company known for excellent staff retention and a strong focus on health and safety.

You will report directly to the Stores Team Manager and play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the stores and warehouse function.

• Maintaining accurate stock levels and replenishing as required
• Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently
• Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
• Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts
• Completing works orders and despatch paperwork
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with customer collections and delivery of parts to field engineers when required
• Supporting the Stores Team Manager with additional duties as needed

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
• Valid in‑date Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licences
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Ability to follow instructions and work to technical specifications
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexible approach to working hours when required

• Day shift only - no evenings or weekends
• Early finish every Friday
• £13.50 per hour with overtime at time and a half
