Position: Strip & Fit Technician

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Corby
Salary: £13.69 - £14.92 per hour depending on experience and successful interview

Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Strip & Fit Technician to join our client's experienced Bodyshop team. Within this role, you will be working as part of a skilled and supportive bodyshop team, ensuring all vehicles are finished to the highest standards for customers, under the guidance of the Supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.

Your Role as a Strip & Fit Technician

• Stripping and fitting panels
• Carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition following approved repair methods
• Removing parts and panels from a wide range of vehicles
• Labelling and storing all fixings (nuts, bolts, screws etc.) correctly for reassembly
• Supporting the bodyshop team within other departments when required
• Assisting in the training of bodyshop trainees

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when required
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
• Passion for the motor trade
• Willingness to support junior technicians and share expertise

Strip & Fit Technician Pay rate & Shift patterns

• £13.69 - £14.92 per hour
• Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:00
