Structural CAD Technician

Job Description:

Think Recruitment are currently working with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy with a reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions. With an expanding portfolio of landmark projects across commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure sectors they're looking to strengthen their structural team with the addition of a Structural CAD Technician.

Playing a key role in producing high-quality drawings and digital models for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and designers to bring projects from concept to construction, on a day to day basis the successful candidate will be responsible for;

• Developing and revising structural drawings, plans, and details using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Prepare reinforcement, steelwork, and general arrangement drawings to engineer specifications.
• Maintain and organise project drawing files in accordance with office standards.
• Assist engineers with model coordination, design updates, and drawing quality control.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant design codes, company standards, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to resolve design and detailing issues
