Supply Chain & Quality Manager

π· Β£41 per hour (Umbrella) | Β£30.64 PAYE

Weβre currently recruiting for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager to join a leading global aerospace programme, working onsite at a major UK engineering facility in Derby.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving quality improvements, and supporting critical manufacturing and supply chain operations within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
- Monitor and manage supplier performance
- Conduct load, capacity, and rate readiness analysis
- Support supply chain intelligence and risk mitigation
- Lead transfer of work and industrialisation of design changes
Quality Management
- Manage non-conformities and drive root cause resolution
- Implement APQP and supplier quality improvement plans (SQIP)
- Support continuous improvement across the supply base
Risk & Project Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
- Support governance and reporting activities
- Contribute to project delivery and recovery planning
What Weβre Looking For
- Strong background in supply chain and quality within aerospace, manufacturing, or automotive
- Experience with APQP, non-conformance, and supplier quality processes
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and provide clear, concise reporting
- Practical problem solver with experience in crisis/recovery environments
- Exposure to project management principles
Previous experience with major OEMs is highly desirable.
