Supply Chain & Quality Manager

📍 Derby (Onsite)

💷 £41 per hour (Umbrella) | £30.64 PAYE

🕒 35 hours per week (4.5 days)

📅 Contract until Dec 2026 (Potential Extension)

We’re currently recruiting for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager to join a leading global aerospace programme, working onsite at a major UK engineering facility in Derby.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving quality improvements, and supporting critical manufacturing and supply chain operations within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

• Monitor and manage supplier performance
• Conduct load, capacity, and rate readiness analysis
• Support supply chain intelligence and risk mitigation
• Lead transfer of work and industrialisation of design changes

Quality Management

• Manage non-conformities and drive root cause resolution
• Implement APQP and supplier quality improvement plans (SQIP)
• Support continuous improvement across the supply base

Risk & Project Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
• Support governance and reporting activities
• Contribute to project delivery and recovery planning

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in supply chain and quality within aerospace, manufacturing, or automotive
• Experience with APQP, non-conformance, and supplier quality processes
• Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
• Ability to analyse data and provide clear, concise reporting
• Practical problem solver with experience in crisis/recovery environments
• Exposure to project management principles

Previous experience with major OEMs is highly desirable.
