As a Support Worker, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stable home for young people. You will work as part of a team to promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and personal development while ensuring all care meets organisational and statutory standards.

Supporting Young People
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people to enhance their sense of security.
Safeguard and promote welfare at all times.
Encourage healthy lifestyles, education, vocational progress, and positive routines.
Provide consistent boundaries and follow agreed behaviour support strategies.
Support young people during admission, daily routines, and the process of leaving care.
Participate in activities, group events, and assist with meal preparation.
Promote independence and help develop social, emotional, and life skills.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, carers, social workers, and external agencies.
Assist in implementing, reviewing, and updating care plans for each young person.
