Job Description:

Support Workers Required for Children’s Home in Enderby and Oadby Leicestershire LE2 LE19

We have an incredible opportunity  to join our  two bed children’s homes  located in Enderby and Oadby Leicestershire. We provide  care and support to children and young people who have complex needs, learning disabilities and display challenging behaviour. We try and make every day extraordinary for the children we care for and support, because we believe in every single one of them. Currently our homes are operational with solo placements.

WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP

The normal hours of work across the homes are as follows:-

08.00 to 14.30

14.00 to 22.30

14.30 to 23.00 if on a sleep in

07.00 to 14.30 after a sleep in.

There are occasional long days of 08.00 to 22.30, occasionally to 23.00 with a sleep in. This often suits staff who have covered extra or don't want public transport home and back the next morning.

Staff work 2 weekends out of 3

Support Worker Requirements

Please note applicants MUST meet the following requirements;

• Able to work Full time
• A full UK driving license
• Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
• An understanding that this role will require to undertake Enhanced DBS checks
• You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins 
• Experience working and supporting 8-18 year old with EBD & challenging behaviour

Senior Support Worker  Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working with Children or Young People (Minimum of 2 year)
• At least 1 year leading and supervising staff
• NVQ level 3 in children’s and young people's workforce or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS.
• Driver

Join us as a Residential Support Worker at our homes in Leicestershire  we can offer:

• £12.50- £13.00 per hour plus £60 sleeps shift pattern normally 2 on 4 off £26700-£27700 per annum approx. plus sleeps

Join us as a Senior Support Worker at our homes in Leicestershire we can offer:

• £13.36- £14.86 per hour plus £60 sleeps shift pattern normally 2 on 4 off £(phone number removed) per annum approx. plus sleeps

• Enhanced pay scales that recognise both qualifications and experience

We also waking nights shifts  £!3.36 - £13.86
