Support Worker

Job Description:

Belmont Recruitment are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join Rutland Council on an ongoing temporary contract. This role is providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities within a day service setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred care and support to adults with a learning disability.

• Support individuals to engage in meaningful activities, employment, learning, and educational opportunities.

• Assist individuals to access their local community, encouraging social participation and independence.

• Provide support with personal care, including washing, dressing, and administering medication in line with care plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care or support role 

• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

• Enhanced DBS check required.

Hours - Shift basis (full time).
