Teacher of Health & Social Care (Social Science) 

Based in Leicester 

Interviews/Trial day over the next few weeks 

KS4 Teaching (Long term & potentially Permanent)  

Start a new and exciting role as a Health & Social Care Teacher at a well-resourced and highly supportive Secondary School in Leicester. Starting ASAP or next term, you will be joining an experienced and well skilled Social Science Department.

THE ROLE - Health & Social Care Teacher / Sociology/Psychology

Our client school require an inspirational, well qualified and hardworking teacher of Socila Science to join a successful, supportive and popular Social Science department with excellent facilities. You will deliver Health & Social Science throughout Key Stages 4 so this role suits an outstanding teacher. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Social Science teacher (NQT) as well as Social Science Teachers with more experience. The successful candidate will be a high calibre Social Science teacher with a drive to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning, contributing to our client school's students' educational experience. The ability to offer Sociology/Psychology is advantageous for this role. The successful teacher will be required to cover an absence within the Social Science department up until the end of the academic year. 

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a Social Science Teacher who has obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS). Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) who have had their qualifications verified by UK NARIC will also be considered.

You will be required to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to maintain the school's high standards of achievement. The successful Social Science Teacher will be able to contribute positively to the continuation of an ambitious and progressive Social Science department.
