Job Title: Teaching Assistant - General Classroom Lower KS2
Location: Rugby
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school team in Rugby. This role involves supporting teaching and learning within a mixed Year 3/4 class.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning in English, maths and foundation subjects

• Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or those requiring intervention

• Assist with preparation of classroom resources and organisation of learning materials

• Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies

• Contribute to assessment activities and feedback where appropriate

• Supervise pupils during breaktimes or educational visits as required

• Have experience working with primary-aged children (Year 3/4 experience desirable)

• Demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills

• Be patient, adaptable and proactive

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
