Pay Rate: £100 – £135 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils and teachers in schools across Beeston. As a TA, you will help facilitate pupils’ learning and wellbeing by supporting classroom activities and delivering personalised assistance as required.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

• Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support with administrative tasks and the organisation of learning resources.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role or working with children in an educational setting.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full and up-to-date CV with clear explanations of any gaps in employment.
