•    Providing individualized attention to students with a range of needs.
•    Facilitating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
•    Assisting students with schoolwork under the supervision of the teacher.
•    Helping children understand instructions.
•    Supporting assessment and evidencing learning.
•    Comforting students when they are upset.
•    Assisting with classroom displays and learning resources.
•    Accompanying groups on trips.
