Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for a fulfilling primary teaching assistant role in Leicester? A BRAND-NEW special needs primary school is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Special Needs TA to support a KS1/KS2 class depending on your preferences. This is a full time, long-term role that can start ASAP with a daily rate from £88.94 per day.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting and engaging with a range of special needs children aged 4-11. You will be generally working around the school and one to one with children that need additional support.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a understanding or experience with special educational needs and/or social emotional mental health. They will be able to use a range of TA strategies to children with diverse learning needs.

• Have experience working with children (volunteering/personal experience also works)
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks - we can process this
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible (we can support with this)
