SEND & SEMH Teaching Assistant – Specialist School

We are seeking a dedicated SEND & SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils aged 7–16 with a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and complex behavioural challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across KS2–KS4.

• Help deliver tailored interventions in core subjects and personal development.

• Support pupils with behaviour regulation, emotional wellbeing, and communication needs.

• Use strategies such as visual aids, sensory tools, and restorative approaches.

What we’re looking for:

• School-based experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH.

• Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management.

• Patience, empathy, and resilience.

• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
