Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Derby

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £90 - £105 a day

TeacherActive are actively looking for SEND Teaching Assistants around the Derby area. We are proud to be working alongside many high performing Primary schools and are keen to fill open positions they have. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Teacher, taking on a wide range of responsibilities including: preparation of learning materials; working with individuals/groups and creating exciting activities. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will have previous experience working with children in KS1/Key stage 1 and KS2/Key stage 2. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a passion in supporting those with Special Educational Needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working in KS1 / KS2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• SEND knowledge – experience working with children in a SEND setting (desirable)
