Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham, Clifton (NG11)
Pay: £100 - £110 per day
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: Asap or January 2026
Contract: Long-term to permanent

About the Role
We're recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream secondary school in Nottingham. The school is Ofsted "Good" and offers a calm, supportive environment with strong pastoral systems.
You'll help students stay focused, confident and engaged in lessons, while offering general classroom support across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 learning and behaviour support
• Help students regulate emotions, follow routines and stay engaged
• Support confidence, independence and positive relationships
• Assist teachers with classroom tasks and learning activities
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress

Requirements

• Experience supporting young people (school, SEN or behaviour roles desirable)
• Confident managing behaviour calmly
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, positive and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
