Job Description:

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching assistants to work in a range of primary schools across the Leicester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and making a positive impact on the classroom. 

The role 

As a teaching assistant, you will:

- Support teachers in delivering enaging and inclusive lessons 

-Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to support learning and development

- Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN & SEMH where required

- Help create a safe, positive and supportive learning envrionment

- Support with classroom preparation & behaviour management

 

The ideal candidate

- Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable)

- Is patient, caring & enthusiastic about education

- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

- Has some experience working with SEN children 

- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
