We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis, supporting pupils and teachers in creating positive learning experiences.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, value flexibility, or are considering a future career in teaching.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support learning across the school day. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support

• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

• Helping to monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments

• Preparing learning resources and supporting classroom organisation

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging learning environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• A proactive, professional, and supportive approach

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable, not essential)
