
SEN Teaching Assistant – KS1 (ASD & ADHD Support)

£95 – £105 per day

Class Mate is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in NG4 to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 with ASD and ADHD.
This is a full-time, long-term role for someone who is patient, proactive and confident supporting children with additional needs. The school is looking for a TA who can build strong relationships, provide structure and consistency, and help pupils access learning in a positive way.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Adapting classroom activities to meet individual learning needs
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Supporting transitions, routines and social development
Promoting independence and confidence
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Calm, resilient and nurturing approach
Confident following EHCP targets and support plans
Team player with good communication skills
Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
