Team Leader

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to support daily warehouse operations and lead a team to achieve productivity, quality, and health & safety targets. This role acts as a key link between warehouse operatives and management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support warehouse operatives on a daily basis
• Allocate tasks and manage workloads to meet KPIs and deadlines
• Monitor performance, productivity, accuracy, and attendance
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures
• Conduct staff inductions, training, and ongoing coaching
• Address performance or conduct issues and escalate when required
• Support picking, packing, loading, and goods-in activities when needed
• Maintain accurate records and complete operational reports
• Communicate effectively with shift managers and other departments
• Assist with stock control, audits, and housekeeping standards

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Operative
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and H&S regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Basic IT skills (WMS, scanners, Microsoft Office)
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required
