Pay Rate: £42PH

About the Role:

Nottingham City Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated TM for Duty and Assessment to join our dedicated Duty and Assessment Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a dynamic team, manage complex cases, and help make a positive difference in the lives of children and families across Nottingham.

As part of our Duty and Assessment Team, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families through crucial assessments. Your leadership will ensure that the team operates at the highest standards of care, compliance, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Duty and Assessment team to deliver high-quality assessments of children and families in need of support.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding standards and child protection procedures.
• Provide expert guidance to team members and oversee case management to achieve the best outcomes for children.
• Work collaboratively with other services to ensure the provision of integrated support.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Essential Requirements:

• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the council area as required.
• Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and conducting social work assessments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
