Team Manager to oversee the Care Leaver Team, managing 8 Personal Advisors who support young people aged 16-25 transition into adulthood. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong leadership skills, this contract role is perfect for you.
As a
Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Personal Advisors, ensuring delivery of high-quality support services to care leavers. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young people's lives while working within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The contract duration is 10 months, offering stability and the chance to lead impactful change.
Candidate Responsibilities: As a
Team Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising a team of 8 Personal Advisors assisting 16-25-year-olds in transitioning to adulthood.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and organisational policies.
- Developing team members through coaching, supervision, and training.
- Managing caseloads, providing guidance on complex cases, and ensuring high standards of care.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to optimise support for care leavers.
- Monitoring team performance and implementing improvements.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for senior management.
- Ensuring the team meets key performance indicators and statutory requirements.
Benefits:- pay 45 LTD inclusive of holiday pay or 36.14 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay per

Qualifications and Skills:- Prior experience in a similar managerial role within social care or youth services
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of statutory regulations relating to care leavers
- Ability to handle complex situations with sensitivity and professionalism
- Relevant DBS clearance (enhanced DBS including barred check for both children and adults)
