Factory FSQA Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £45,000PA 

Accept Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be supporting one of our clients who is a leading factory firm based in Leicester and has been established for over 20 years' and we are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven technical factory manager in Leicester. 

Your key responsibilities would include:

- Develop and implement standardised Quality Management systems across sites
- Ensure that technical objectives are aligned with business goals
- Manage technical budgets and resources effectively
- Ensure that all technical projects are completed on time and within set budgets
- Managing site technical teams to ensure set objectives and KPI targets are met
- Collaboration with project teams to determine technical resource efficiency and ensure development of work schedules
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
- Lead and mentor the team of quality and technical professionals deliver training and programs for the team
- Troubleshooting technical issues and finding innovative solutions
- Improvement of site standards and drive positive food safety culture across sites
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate and up to date
- Lead technical meetings and presentations
- Assessment of technical metrics and ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive action plan
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies within the factory, promote culture of safety awareness among the team and report any safety incidents or near-misses
- Oversee the implementation of quality control processes to ensure products meet the required standards, specifications and regulatory requirements
- Promote teamwork and effective communication within the team and with other departments, provide training and development opportunities for stakeholders
- Implement process improvements to enhance quality KPI's timely non-conforming product management and reduce downtime.
- Optimise the use of resources, improve team efficiency to achieve cost effective operations

Key requirements:

• 10 + years' experience in quality or technical related fields
• Strong understanding of technical systems and processes
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement technical strategies
• Experience managing budgets and resources
• Knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends
• Experience with project management and technical documentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to develop and deliver training programs
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
