This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:
This role is for a Technical Lead - Stress—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Finite Element Analysis methods
• Calculation reviews
• Modelling
• Assist in achieving business targets

The Individual We’re looking for people who can show:

• Transferable skills from highly regulated sectors
• Expertise in fatigue, fracture, thermal, and structural stress assessments using finite element analysis
• Finite Element analysis in ABAQUS
• CRACKEN or alternative fracture assessment
• Familiar with the Gated review process
• Code assessment to ASME B&PVC and R6; RCC-M
• Knowledge of structural integrity & defect tolerance assessments
• Python scripting in the ABAQUS environment is desirable
• Fatigue crack growth & initiation experience is desirable
