Monday - Friday

£43,000 - £45,000 plus commission

Our client is a specialist engineering manufacturer, designing and supplying industrial equipment and systems to a range of sectors in the UK and overseas. They are now looking for a Technical Sales Manager who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer interaction, building relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Grow sales of industrial equipment across the UK, with potential to expand internationally
• Travel to customer and potential sites, planning visits efficiently to meet multiple clients
• Work alongside the existing Sales Manager to manage the UK sales patch
• Manage custom sales, including gathering full customer requirements, liaising with technical staff on designs, and overseeing projects from order to completion
• Spot new business opportunities and build strong, long-term client relationships
• Overnight stays are required, however that's only expected a few times across the year (all expenses covered)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Full UK driving license is essential
• Laboratory equipment experience is essential
• Experience with insulation materials is a plus
• Strong understanding of materials, and different material types used in equipment
• Solid engineering and technical knowledge.
• Must be within a commutable distance for on-site training
