About the Role

The Technical Services Lead – Energy Storage is a senior, service-focused engineering role supporting the reliable operation of energy storage assets once they are live. This role suits an engineer who enjoys solving real-world technical problems, supporting service teams, and working closely with customers and partners.

You’ll act as the technical bridge between field service, operations, OEMs, and customers, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and learnings are fed back into continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical support for operational energy storage systems
• Support complex fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Provide technical guidance to service engineers and partners
• Interface with OEMs and suppliers on technical issues and improvements
• Support training, documentation, and service capability development
• Ensure all activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards

About You

• Experience in service, operations, maintenance, or commissioning environments
• Background in electrical systems, power generation, renewables, or critical infrastructure
• Confident in customer-facing technical roles
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and operational risk
• Calm, structured, and practically minded
