Temporary Industrial Placement - Design Engineer.At Triumph, our employees are the heartbeat of our business. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Temporary Industrial Placement - Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Hinckley. This is a unique opportunity for an engineering student to develop and test a broad range of skills in a thriving environment.

As a Design Engineer Student Placement, you will immerse yourself in essential engineering processes, including:

• Developing and testing 3D CAD design work and producing technical drawings.
• Engaging in development testing and computer simulation, specifically using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Participating in our comprehensive induction programme and specialised CAD training course (PTC Creo) to equip you with the skills you need for your projects.
• Collaborating within our open-plan office environment, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Working with external suppliers and various departments such as Purchasing, Quality, Assembly, and Manufacturing, enhancing your industry-relevant skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering-related degree programme.
• Able to work on-site in Hinckley 5 days per week.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Preferably studying a degree accredited by the IMechE, meeting the academic requirements of a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
