Location: Leicester (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding organisation who are seeking a Temporary Management Accountant to join their Group function.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the month-end process for a large, multi-entity group operating across multiple business lines. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting during a period of significant growth and investment.

The role is offered on an initial 6-month contract with potential to become permanent.

As Temporary Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial information across multiple entities. Duties will include:

• Preparing full month-end accounts for multiple entities, including posting journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Consolidating results across the group and supporting variance analysis and commentary.

• Producing management reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.

• Partnering with operational teams to ensure alignment between financial and commercial performance.

• Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting processes.

• Driving improvements in month-end efficiency through process review and Excel automation.

• Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE will be considered, providing experience is proven and relevant.

• Proven experience working in a large business or multi-entity group environment.

• Strong track record in preparing month-end accounts for multiple entities simultaneously.

• Advanced Excel skills - must be highly proficient in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.

• Proven understanding of core accounting principles and systems (GL, AP, AR, Payroll).

• A confident communicator with a proactive, organised approach

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

• Experience with process improvement or system integration would be advantageous.

• Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum.
