The Opportunity

We’re recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established, people-focused engineering business specialising in precision stainless steel fabrication.

This is a day shift role working on one-offs and small batch work — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship rather than repetitive jig work.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

• TIG welding stainless steel (primarily up to 5mm thickness)
• Producing one-off and small batch fabrications
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out basic fabrication tasks including cutting, forming and finishing
• Occasional MIG welding when required
• Ensuring high standards of quality and finish

This is not jig work — the role offers variety and requires skill, precision, and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel
• Ability to weld thin gauge materials to a high standard
• Experience with basic fabrication and reading technical drawings
• Some MIG welding experience (advantageous but not essential)
• A reliable, quality-driven approach and pride in your work
