We are recruiting for a Trainee Architectural Technician to join the Technical Department in Head Office, based in Measham, Swadlincote. A career in Architecture and Design with Bloor Homes will be the start of something big. Surrounded by a team of experienced and caring professionals across Design, Technical and Planning, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate your ability whilst learning from the best.
MAIN DUTIES
- Producing, creating and modifying basic layouts using AutoCad.
- Amending house type working drawings for one of our regional teams.
- Producing presentation layouts and planning application packs.
- Attending meetings that may be required in the performance of your duties.
- Complying with and upholding company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
- Computer / IT literate with capability to use excel, Word and database packages.
- Ability to use AutoCAD.
- 5 GCSE Grade 4 or above, including maths and English (or equivalent).
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
