Our Client:

A leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber joinery, specialising in solid-core internal and external doors and high-quality timber joinery products are now seeking a Trainee Bench Hand Joiner to join a skilled workshop team, where you'll receive hands-on training and development to become a fully competent bench joiner within a professional, supportive environment.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in joinery and woodworking. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced joiners, learning how to produce high-quality timber doors and components, while developing skills in bench joinery, hand tools, and machine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacture of bespoke timber joinery products, including solid-core and fire-rated doors.

• Learn to use a range of bench tools and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.

• Follow technical drawings and instructions under supervision.

• Ensure work meets required quality and safety standards.

• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.

• Participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and development programmes.

• Support colleagues with day-to-day workshop activities as required.

Skills & Attributes Required:

• Genuine interest in woodworking, carpentry, or joinery.

• Practical and hands-on, with good attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
