TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR - GATEHOUSE CONTROLLER (NIGHTS)

Job Description:

🚨 Gatehouse Administrator – Join Our Dynamic Logistics Team! 🚨
📍 Location: Tamworth
💼 Contract Type: Full-time
📅 Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off
💰 Salary: £29,333.30 per annum Nights
🌴 Holiday: 23.5 days annual leave
🕒 Shift Details:

• Nights Fixed: 6pm–6am (1hrs Lunch)
• Fixed pattern (3 on/3 off)

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Gatehouse Duties:

• Manage trailer movements using our Yard Management System
• Coordinate with drivers, shunters, warehouse staff, and the transport office
• Maintain clear radio communication and accurate system updates

Transport Admin Duties:

• Despatch and debrief drivers using internal IT systems
• Prepare driver boxes and resolve transport-related issues
• Liaise with on-site, customer service, and planning teams

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Previous admin experience (essential)
• Transport or logistics background (preferred)
• Security experience (a bonus for gatehouse roles)
• Confident using Microsoft Office and transport applications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, reliable work ethic
