Alternative Provision Tutors (Freelance – Nottinghamshire) Immediate start
Beyond Limits Learning & Wellbeing
This isn’t tutoring as you know it.
We’re looking for mentors, motivators, and spark-pluggers — not classroom replicators.
This role is about connection, curiosity, and compassion. You’ll work 1:1 with neurodivergent, emotionally overwhelmed, or disengaged young people. Many of them have hated school. You won’t “teach at” them. You’ll sit beside them, earn their trust, and help them rebuild from wherever they’re at.
You’ll thrive in this role if:
You don’t need a whiteboard to teach.
You’re patient, grounded, and know how to laugh.
You connect with kids who are anxious, withdrawn, or “difficult”.
You can adapt on the spot — a worksheet, a walk, a conversation.
You’re here to make actual impact, not just tick boxes.
