Job Description:

Micheldever Tyres is looking for an Implant Tyre Technician to work at a prestigious dealership.  Our Tyre Technicians / Fitters are responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.  Working for our Micheldever Franchised Dealer Division (MFDD), you will be an ambassador for our customer whilst working with and being part of our customers team in a high-end business whilst delivering customer excellence to all parties.

• Location: Narborough Road, Leicester
• Must have:  Full current UK Driving Licence
• Package: £30-31K (up to £34,500 OTE) + benefits

About the role:

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.
• Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out
•  To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

• Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship
• Excellent customer service and self-presentation
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative
• Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance
• Friendly and approachable manner with an excellent customer service

Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees’ company wide.

To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. 

Micheldever Franchised Dealer Division sits within the wider wholesale function and works with key Vehicle Manufacturer partners to deliver tyre programmes for their networks, but also support key dealer group partners who chose to operate independently of the VM programmes.
