Our client, a successful and rapidly growing independent car supermarket, has built a strong reputation for quality, value and outstanding service. They now seek a friendly, well-presented Used Car Handover Specialist to support customers at the most important part of the purchase journey — collection day. If you are confident, customer-orientated and enjoy making a positive first impression, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, customer-centric automotive business based in Hinckley.

Used Car Handover Specialist Role:
•    Conduct final quality and presentation checks before handover — including fuel levels, cleanliness, fitted accessories and vehicle condition.
•    Prepare and organise all handover documentation, such as sales contracts, finance agreements, service history, registration forms and user manuals.
•    Welcome customers on collection, guide them through the vehicle handover and demonstrate key features, controls and technology to ensure full confidence in their new car.
•    Deliver a professional, friendly and customer-focused experience at every handover, maintaining brand presentation and communication standards.
•    Carry out post-handover follow-ups where required — offering support with after-sales queries, road-tax, insurance or general vehicle questions.
•    Work closely with sales, admin, valeting and workshop teams to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready on time, supporting smooth customer handovers and showroom flow.

Used Car Handover Specialist Requirements:
•    Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
•    Previous experience in vehicle handover, delivery, or a customer-facing role within automotive or retail.
•    Strong attention to detail and high standards for presentation.
•    Excellent customer service and communication skills — able to present vehicles confidently, explain features and paperwork to customers.
•    Good administration and organisational skills, including handling documentation and finance/paperwork accurately.
•    Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours (collections may occur at varied times).
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (sales, valuation, valeting, workshop, delivery teams).
