Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vaccine nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in administering vaccinations to patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care. As a Vaccine nurse, you will contribute significantly to public health by ensuring that individuals receive their vaccinations on time.

This role is part time from September to December 

Willing to Travel to different location 

Duties

• Administer vaccines to patients according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and manage vaccination supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.
• Monitor patients for any immediate adverse reactions post-vaccination and provide appropriate care if necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of vaccinations administered, including patient information and vaccine details.
• Educate patients about the vaccines being administered, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth vaccination process.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect both patients and staff.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain medical procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate administration of vaccines and record-keeping.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
• Knowledge of immunisation schedules and vaccine types is advantageous.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with patients, particularly those who may be anxious about vaccinations.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare colleagues.
• Previous Experience in Vaccinations
