Vehicle Technician (Level 2)

Job Description:

Personnel Solutions are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our client's busy and professional workshop team, working under the support of the Supervisor and Workshop Manager to deliver work to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Undertake tyre changes and road/ramp testing
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
• Ensure repairs follow approved methods and quality procedures
• Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
• Complete all job cards and documentation accurately
• Support junior technicians and assist with general workshop duties

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) – essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Passion for the motor industry and high standards
