Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a well-equipped Workshop, located in Corby.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Conducting Vehicle Health Checks accurately.
• Timing belt and clutch replacements.
• Maintaining an efficient safe Workshop – ensuring it’s a tidy environment to regularly work within.
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Prior experience working on Hybrid/Electrical Vehicles.
• Advisable to obtain an MOT Tester certificate.
• Strong at identifying various faults.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £42,000 basic with OTE of £42,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday – Friday, with 1-in-2 Saturdays also required.
