Vehicle Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle SERVICE Technician to join our team in Nuneaton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.

We are looking for experienced level 3 certified or city & guilds equivalent technicians for this role. we may also look at a time served mechanic. You must hold a full uk driving licence and have a good selection of tools.

Salary is experience dependent and is between £32,000 and £36,000

Working hours are Monday - Friday 08.00am - 17.30 NO WEEKENDS

21 days personal holidays plus all bank holidays plus.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, and filter replacements

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures

- Conduct inspections and tests to identify any potential issues or safety concerns

- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, assemble, and repair vehicle components

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician

- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance procedures

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers
