Vehicle Technician

Job Description:

We are recruiting for Vehicle Technician in Corby, NN17 with immediate start.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Salary: £15.60 -£16.60 per hour

Duties:
. Perform general servicing and maintenance of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
. Carry out tyre changes for a range of vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency.
. Undertake road and ramp testing and inspections as required to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
. Conduct vehicle repairs, following approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
. Plan and organise time effectively to meet set deadlines and achieve high levels of efficiency in task completion.
. Assist with general workshop tasks, offering support where needed.
. Diagnose vehicle faults, including electrical issues, and resolve them as required.
. Handle warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards and company procedures.
. Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements:
. Previous experience in a similar role (Vehicle Technician / Mechanic) with a proven track record.
. Qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) (essential).
. A full UK driving licence is required.
. Ability to support junior technicians and provide guidance when necessary.
. Strong passion for the motor industry with a focus on delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
. Ability to work independently, making decisions when required and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
