Our client is actively recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm
• One in three Saturdays, 8:00am to 1:00pm, paid at 1.5x rate

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle safety inspections and diagnostics
• Use manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Perform servicing, repairs, and vehicle maintenance to meet manufacturer standards
• Complete vehicle health checks adhering to dealership protocols
• Carry out MOT testing if qualified, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Uphold health and safety procedures within the workshop environment
• Ensure all work is documented correctly and communicates findings effectively to customers

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing, inspections, and repair work
• MOT licence desirable but not essential
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills essential for the Vehicle Technician role
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
