Vehicle Technician

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established independent dealership in Derby, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team.

Duties of this Vehicle Technician role:

• Carrying out general vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Completing MOT tests for qualified technicians
• Road testing and ramp testing vehicles to ensure optimal operation
• Performing repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and approved methods
• Ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately completed and maintained
• Supporting the workshop team in maintaining high standards of vehicle health and safety

Requirements of this Vehicle Technician role:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent)
• MOT licence preferred but not essential
• Previous experience working within a workshop or fast-fit environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools necessary for the role
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to vehicle repair and maintenance
