Job Description:

Charging Systems Verification & Validation Engineer – EV / Electrification
Contract – 6 Months
Automotive – Office Based

We are recruiting for a Charging Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to support advanced EV charging systems within a leading automotive electrification programme.

This is a hands-on, vehicle-level role focused on EV charging validation, OBC, DC-DC converter and high voltage systems (400V / 800V).

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute validation & verification (V&V) for EV Charging Systems
• Vehicle-level testing of On-Board Charger (OBC), DC-DC, BMS
• Perform SW release testing and defect triage
• Test using CANoe, CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, UDS, DOIP
• Validate against ISO 15118, IEC 61851, DIN 70121
• Conduct functional, performance & robustness testing
• Work cross-functionally with systems, software & integration teams
• Root cause analysis of charging failures and communication issues

Required Experience:

• Automotive EV / Electrification validation experience
• Strong knowledge of EV charging protocols (CCS, CHAdeMO, NACS, Type 2, GB/T)
• Hands-on with CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Experience with high voltage systems
• Knowledge of power electronics and charging architecture
• Experience with EVSE, charging emulators or power analysers desirable
