Voids Supervisor

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Voids Supervisor to join a respected and well-established housing contractor in the Leicester area. The Voids Supervisor will be responsible for the site supervision of works and liaison with all trade operatives on the planned works and kitchens team. This is an site based position.

I would be interested in seeing CV’s for candidates who have similar experience being a Site Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, Site Manager, Team Leader, Foreman or Contracts Manager.

Voids Supervisor duties:

• Provide day to day supervision and performance management of the trades operatives
• Act as a mentor to apprentices and trainees
• Assist in and manage, support and motivate the operatives in your team
• Carry out regular onsite assessments and tool box talks
• Inspect and scope void properties when required
• Ensure that the quality of work undertaken meets the required technical and performance standards.

 
What is required for the Voids Supervisor role:

• Must hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS
• Must hold a full driving licence
• Experience managing trades on site
• Experience managing in void properties or on a void contract
• Social housing experience

 
In return, the Voids Supervisor will receive:

• Company van and fuel card or car allowance
• 40 hour working week with overtime and call out options!
• Working hours 7am - 4pm
• ASAP start
• Permanent employment from day one
• 28 days annual leave
