Immediate start after successful interview 

We are recruiting for an experienced warehouse administrator to join the team of a large distribution hub on the outskirts of Derby. You will joining the warehouse and logistics team to support with data entry, customer service, and general operations support.  

Working hours:
3 shift rotation: 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 / 2200-0600
Monday to Friday (however you may be asked to cover weekends on occasion during holidays)

Day to day includes…

• Using WMS to manage inventory, track shipments, and process orders. 
• Speaking with external hauliers, contractors and customers to provide up to date information on orders and shipments.
• Working with the other operations teams to resolve any queries. 
• Performing stock accuracy checks, analyzing results, and resolving discrepancies. 
• Producing reports for the operations team
• Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is processed and filed correctly
• Other AD HOC tasks to support the wider team.

About you:

• Experience in a similar role using WMS would be preferred.
• Comfortable to be working in both an office environment and on the shop floor in the warehouse.
• Confident Communicator
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use own initiative and problem solve
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Able to commute to the Alvaston area at the above shift times.
  
  

Please note:
This position is offered on an initial temporary basis in whihc the clinet may transfer you over to a permanent contract after the qualifying time period. In this role you will come into contact with alcohol.
